TOPIC- NABEEL GABOL RESIGNED FROM MQM, SENATE ELECTIONS

ARIF ALVI OF PTI said that Nabeel Gabol has not contacted to join PTI. He said that in the past he tried to join PTI and he also invited him. He said that Nabeel Gabol should have been aware of the facts before joining MQM.
He said that as the senate election approached the news of the involvement of money are coming. He said that the name of one of the industrialist is especially coming forward to pay money for the elections of senate. He said that such an amendment needed in the constitution that could change the current system of the elections of senate.
He said that we need elections reforms otherwise the rigging allegations will be come forward again. He said that we need to investigate the rigging allegations of last elections in order to have elections reforms for the future.
He said that he believes that direct voting system should be adopted for the elections of senate and special seats.
ABID SHER ALI OF PML-N said that we want to have transparent democratic system in the country. He said that he invites PTI to come back in the national assembly and introduce electro reforms amendments in joining with other members.
He said that within the limits of the constitution any system besides direct voting system can be adopted for the elections of senate.
LATIF KHOSA OF PPPP said that it is unfortunate that at the time of the elections of senate billions of rupees bribes are being offered. He said that billions of rupees bribes are offered by the people that have lot of money.
He said that if we still going to do the politics of Changa Manga, Marriot Hotel and bribes then it is not going to benefit anybody. He said that the show of hands system in the elections of senate is not going to help the transparency.
He said that besides direct voting the political parties can nominate their candidates as well.
He said that like the national and provincial assemblies the senate elections should also held by direct voting system.
