NADEEM AFZAL CHAN OF PPPP said that the nation should be told that what is national security and what is its definition. He said that DAWN Leaks was either not the issue of national security if it was then it should told that who was the responsible. He said that investigating report of DAWN Leaks should be presented in the parliament. He said that if the question is of civilian supremacy then ISPR spoke person should be sacked for the tweet he did against DAWN Leaks. He said that PML-N is running a campaign that the decision on DAWN Leaks is the victory of the democracy. He said that he fears that after the decision on DAWN Leaks a new spat between the government and the military establishment will start in the country. He said that he will request General Bajwa that he should not let succeed the formula of General Kayani in 2013.
FAWAD CH OF PTI said that the parliament is bypassed on DAWN Leaks the report should be resented there. He said that General Raheel issue was also not presented in the parliament for debate and today we are having sour relationship with Iran.
He said that the accused in DAWN Leaks should be given opportunity to clarify their perspective. He said that the military raised the issue of DAWN Leaks but backed off because of some kind of pressure.
NIHAL HASHMI OF PML-N said that DAWN Leaks issue has been resolved amicably and the military has accepted the civil supremacy. He said that the military has stated that there was no security breach in DAWN Leaks.
GENERAL (R) GHULAM MUSTAFA said that the military recognized the civil supremacy the day it let the PM to resolve the DAWN Leaks scandal. He said that according to the constitution the military could have done the inquiry of the DAWN Leaks and arrest the responsible as well. He said that the government and the military need to be on one page in the current situation of the country. He said that DAWN Leaks has become a difficult issue for General Bajwa he has to answer the tough questions of the military personals. He said that the crack that has widened will be difficult to fill in.
