WASEEM SAJJAD FORMER PRESIDENT OF PAKISTAN AND CHAIRMAN SENATE said that SC said that it will decide on the basis of the JIT report that how it will proceed further on Panama case. He said that after JIT report money laundering, corruption and assets beyond means allegations have come to the surface. He said that JIT report divulgences a company in the name of Nawaz Sharif as well. He said that article 62 and 63 applies on Nawaz Sharif and SC can give its verdict on it. He said that in his opinion the SC will listen the arguments of the lawyers of both sides on Monday that how the case should move further. He said that in his opinion SC will make its own decision on some of the sections of JIT and some will go to the trial. He said that Dubai justice department has said that it has no record of the money of Gulf steel going to Qatar or any other country. He said that the PM should ponder what to do now the game is still in his hands do not let go out of the hands. He said that if the SC disqualifies the PM it will affect the country, PM and his party.
SHIREEN MAZARI OF PTI said that the PM said that he will resign if any wrong doing will prove against him. She said that fabrication of the documents and perjury against SC also has been proved against the PM. She said that Maryam Nawaz kept saying in the SC that she is not the beneficial owner of the off shore companies.
DR MOSADIQ MALIK OF PML-N said that JIT report is challenging but not surprising it is based on prejudices. He said that PML-N never said that Maryam Nawaz is not the signatory of NELSON and NESCN companies. He said that PML-N still stands that Maryam Nawaz is the beneficial owner. He said that PML-N will contest the report of JIT in the SC. He said that efforts are being made that no one from the family of the PM should be spared. He questioned that what was wrong if JIT had gone to Qatari prince to get his statement.
